For Team 5PM, I had the opportunity to contribute to a large scale production for Amazon Prime Video. Together with an extensive crew, we produced six episodes of the new series Franks Veiling, starring Frank van der Slot, widely known on YouTube as Slotta.
In Frank’s Veiling, the lowest bidder wins. Instead of auctioning products or physical items, the show features raw, online inspired and daring challenges. Each episode brings together a different mix of Dutch creators who compete against one another in an intense reverse auction where the stakes are high and major rewards are on the line.
Rather than bidding up, contestants bid down. Whoever names the lowest amount wins and must take on the challenge. If they succeed, they earn the money. If they fail, they walk away empty handed.
