For Audio Obscura 2026, I was responsible for the edit of the official aftermovie. The goal was to create a cinematic film that captures the atmosphere of the event, while still having a clear narrative throughout.
Rather than simply putting together a collection of highlights, I wanted the aftermovie to feel like a complete experience. The edit was built around a natural flow, carefully selected moments and a rhythm that allows the music, visuals and atmosphere to work together.
One of the biggest challenges was the weather. It rained heavily throughout the entire day, which made capturing and shaping the atmosphere into a cinematic film an interesting challenge. The edit focused on making the most of the available footage and turning those conditions into part of the story, rather than letting them define the final result.
